What a year!!
What a productive year this was for me! Here is only a little excerpt of my most important musical adventures of 2019.
Recording with Wild Strings Trio in GAM Studios, Belgium, January 2019
One of a kind experience: 5 days in a remote cottage in Belgium countryside. Only us 3, amazing producer and sound engineer Leander Meuris and his no less skilled assistant Toon Delvetere and music. The dream for recording!

Big Band HRT playing my composition “Something in Between”, Zagreb, Croatia, March 2019
Composition of mine was selected to be performed by the Croatian HRT Big Band at their annual New Composers concert with live radio streaming. And I was honored to play with them as well!

Debut Concert of my Jazz Quartet, Austria, April 2019
Finally! My music for jazz quartet got alive! And I was lucky to work with such inspiring and motivated musicians as these guys are! That makes whole other world! We played in front of full house at Jazz Club Kammerlichtspiele, Klagenfurt, Austria.
Composing retreat in Rome, Italy, May 2019
I was lucky to get few days off and dive into composing in this incredible romantic and inspiring city. I finished my big band composition “New Town 8:31” there and we performed it with Konse Big Band later in June.

Tour with Trio A Cuerdas through Croatian Islands, July 2019
Flamenco, sun, heat, sea, voice, dance and violin. Hot combination! Was it a tour or a holiday? Hard to say!

CREMM Residency at Babel Sound Festival, Hungary, July 2019
I was selected as one of the performers for CREMM Residency. We created a band together with another 5 musicians from different countries and made a brand new program in 5 days. Very inspiring! And lovely new friendships!
Tour with Primo Tempo & recording an album, Switzerland, Italy, August-September 2019
I was invited by wonderful guitarist and composer Michel Faragalli to join his new tango nuevo project – Primo Tempo. Right after a tour in Switzerland and Italy we recorded his new compositions and released an album. Listen to it here. What a treat to play with such a good musicians and good people. This was not only about music, I found friends for life!
Release Concert of Wild Strings Trio’s new album Bendjistan, October 2019, Slovenia

Desert Vert Festival with CREMM in Morocco, October 2019
Desert, sun, clear sky, bright stars, berber musicians, CREMM friends, amazing international bands, well…I guess it was a part of paradise right there.
China Tour with Wild Strings Trio feat. Damir Mazrek, October 2019
3-weeks tour around Jiangsu province and Beijing in China. Playing at International Jazz Festival “Shared Joy in Jiangsu” in Nanjing and 10 other cities. Playing for Slovenian embassy in Beijing. Sharing a tour with crazy guys from Belgium band Evil Empire Orchestra. And WST finally playing with outstanding percussionist Damir Mazrek. It was sooo much fun! Trip of a lifetime!
